You may find it hard to stay active when you have young kids keeping you busy. The Get Air Trampoline Park is a way for the whole family to get the blood pumping and have fun! They have selected times that specific groups can jump including Toddler Time, Club Air time which is for kids over the age of 9, and then Special Time Just for You is set aside for children with special needs. It is a lot of fun and a great way to stay active!

The YWCA has many great programs that help our community, including their group exercise classes! These classes are a great way to stay active and surround yourself with people who are all working towards a common goal – to live healthier lifestyles! Their classes include kickboxing, cardio, light weights, yoga, Zumba, and much more!
Burn Boot Camp
Want to workout but don’t feel comfortable enough with gym equipment to go on your own? Why not give Burn Boot Camp a try! Just RSVP to the class that works best with your schedule, and then show up. You will be shown what to do and what the workouts will look like as you go through the class. The instructors will be with you every step of the way to encourage you and help you get the most out of your workout.

You can play Laser Tag on their large, military-themed course for up to two hours. They also have a High Ropes Courses and Ziplining that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. It’s sometime hard to choose a healthy meal when we are on the go. Luckily in High Point we have some healthier options like Alexandria’s Hamilton Street Bistro! Fresh ingredients and made to order, Alexandria’s offer plenty of choices. Beet lovers: Do not pass up the Beet Salad! Very tasty and full of nutrients. Colder days call for their famous Tomato Bisque Soup! Pair that with a sandwich and you have yourself a meal! The Blue Zucchini is another great restaurant that offers healthier options. If bread is on your diet, you definitely have plenty of options to choose from and will enjoy as all their bread is homemade. A personal favorite is their Zurk sandwich piled with turkey, zucchini, sprouts, havarti cheese, sundried tomato aioli, on a warm focaccia bread.
